New Play Area in Holywells Park, opened in April 2023

The following shows facilities and information – there are also park events listed here

Facilities

• Bishops Café and Tea Rooms: Open from 9am to 3:30pm for drinks, ice-cream and cakes, located in the Stable Block. (The café re-opened under totally new management and décor in April 2023.)
• Trails including a Fitness ‘Trim’ Trail
• Changing Places facility for profound and multiple disabilities
• Victorian conservatory & outdoor classrooms available for hire
• Enjoy an outdoor walk – Holywells Park Walking Routes (PDF)
• Walled Garden with open air theatre space and maze
• Water play facility (summer only) – this will close from Sunday 11th September, reopening in Spring 2023, date to be advised.
• Play Area for children, incorporating hi-tech play facility, kiosk (Bishops Parlour), toilets and changing room. (This was refreshed and reopened at Easter 2023.)
• Bowling green, home to Holywells Bowling Club.
• You can refill your water bottle at the Stable Block tap – we are on the refill.org.uk app
